Hassan Khan is contributing both with a light and sound installation and a live concert at Intonal, and in addition to this an artist talk is scheduled to take place on Saturday April 29. His diverse artistic practice moving freely between the internationally music and art scene will be one of the questions investigated in the artist talk and conversation between the artist and the curator behind Intonals installation program, Christian Skovbjerg Jensen, director at IAC.
Hassan Khan is an artist, musician and writer who lives and works in Cairo, Egypt. Recent exhibitions include: Museum of Rhythm, Museum Sztuki in Lodz (2017) and The Portrait is an Address, Beirut Art Center, Beirut (2016). He has participated in various biennials and institutions, among others: The Montreal Biennial (2016); Museum für Moderne Kunst, Frankfurt (2015); The Sharjah Biennial (2015) and Documenta 13, Kassel, 2012.
He has recently published his first novella Twelve Clues, a science fiction tale of the trembling of civilizations and is currently preparing for his participation in the forthcoming Venice Biennale, opening right after Intonal.
