“How to read a city: A prelude” KHM x MMM Artist talk at IAC

The lecture series KHM x MMM starts off the new season at IAC with Kirsty Bell – a writer and critic living in Berlin. The title for the lecture “How to read a city: A prelude.” relates to a new book Bell is working on about Berlin.

Kirsty Bell is contributing editor to frieze magazine, she writes regularly for publications including Art in America, art agenda and Mousse Magazine. She has published numerous monographic catalogue essays, most recently on Marc Camille Chaimowicz (Kestnergesellschaft, Hanover), Laura Owens (Whitney Museum of American Art), Martin Kippenberger (Catalogue Raisonée of the Paintings, Vol. 3), Juliette Blightman (Kunsthalle Bern) and Günther Förg (Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and Dallas Museum of Art). Her book “The Artist’s House. From Workplace to Artwork”, was published by Sternberg Press in 2013.
