Social Setup is a story in Virtual Reality and a choreographed performance in a glossy scenographic installation. Through the use of a HTC-Vive headset you are invited to walk around in a virtual room. Characters you meet in the room show you what to do. When you look at yourself in the mirror, you see that your body has been transformed into someone else’s. You get to sit down in the physical furniture and feel the 3d-printed textures. The story and the music of the work are interpreted from “La Traviata” by Giuseppe Verdi. You’ll perform the main character in this love drama.
