Strings is a participative performance that explores the driving forces of change and what personal motivations humans have for pursuing their vision. The site of the performance is the University of Lund with its atmospheric environment, history and diverse hubs of knowledgemaking in Lund and Malmö. The hosts are an international group of researchers from all faculties of Lund University covering topics that cut through the United Nations sustainable goals, that are set to respond to the current global crisis. In the two parts of STRINGS the researchers will share their stories, knowledge and inspiration through a series of performative encounters.
STRINGS Part I: We are all researchers is a personal meeting between two people in a poetic performative setting. Read more about the first part here.
STRINGS Part II: The Hub, is a performative gathering of people that have a motivation for change and seek to inspire and get inspired. A small group of guests together with researchers are invited to participate in a creative laboratory that investigates the motivations for change. It is a celebration of the things we love and are happily attached to and that can inspire you to make a contribution to big or small changes in your environment. What is worth sustaining? is the leading question in a playful encounter between professional and everyday researchers.
