Artistic Constraints and a Pop-Up Sound Garden
In his talk, Fredrik will describe his working method for creating sounds in the computer programming language SuperCollider. It will be about self-imposed constraints and rules to trigger creativity. In the second half, he will discuss the outdoor sound installation Pop-Up-Sound-Garden at Skillinge Theatre and how the sounds for it were created using this method. He will also describe the structure of the installation with sensors, speakers, embedded computers and power supplies.
