January 12th
IAC is still open but…
Covid-19 update
a new year with old news
We are hopeful that 2021 – in due time – will be very different from and better than the pandemic year we put behind us. But unfortunately, the virus is still very much alive, so we need to withhold and adapt our guidelines in order to secure a safe working environment at IAC for both our staff, researchers and artists.
IAC is still open for artistic research and experimentation, but things are far from how they used to be. We have no public events and no sharing sessions or other gatherings in house. We continuously adapt the amount of people that we can house, both in total and in specific rooms, which means that we have much lower activity than normal. In January we prioritize researchers, doctoral students, and artists that we have long term collaborations with and will on the contrary minimise the number of new users. We will postpone projects that include larger groups of people, and projects that require travelling more than two hours to get here.
