IAC Art Film Club is a study group for everyone interested in films made by artists. Each month we will watch one or more films that we discuss afterwards.

On Thursday, 17 February, at 18.00 we will launch the programme with some films by one of the most notable British artist and filmmaker, BEN RIVERS. His often dark utopian films, threading the line between documentary and fiction are recurrently screened at film festivals and art institutions around the world.

Now just recently, the trilogy “Urthworks” was shown at Kunstnernes hus in Oslo. Of these works often produced to be experienced as film installations we have chosen to screen Urth (2016, 20 min) and “Slow Action” (2010, 40 min).
