In the workshop, the participants will explore the concepts of Risk-taking and Resonance together with prominent artists and researchers Juliana Hodkinson and Jennifer Torrence.

The event is part of Nordic Network for Feminist Collaboration in New Music – A collaboration between Konstmusiksystrar and Damkapellet which brings together composers, musicians and researchers in a series of workshops in 2022. The purpose of the project is to strengthen the bonds between music creators and develop sustainable feminist working methods for musical collaboration.

Damkapellet is a feminist musical collective that highlight and performs music by artists who define themselves as women, non-binary or trans people.

Konstmusiksystrar (Sisters in Contemporary Music) is a Swedish network that works to increase the representation of women and transgender people in the realms of contemporary art music and sonic arts.
