IAC is no ordinary showroom. In our daily work, we rarely meet an audience, but a house full of artists who develop, test, and produce innovative projects in the fields of art, music, theater, and dance.
This year’s Malmö Gallery Week is a unique opportunity to see artists live at the IAC as we open the doors to a wider audience. You are invited to experience new collages from the sound installation by Lena Bergendahl and Halla Steinunn Stefánsdóttir, both of which are integrated in our Café area.
In the Black Room, Mariella Louise Otto presents a completely new video installation, and in the VR room next door you can see one of Carolina Sandvik’s acclaimed animations and the trailer for her latest videos. In our studio, Mads Kristian Frøslev from the Academy of Fine Arts is showing part of his master exhibition, and on Friday we are offering a performance evening with a focus on sound, during which the Sunset Provision Choir from Denmark will sing backwards.
