Friday, 18-22 & Saturday to Sunday, 12-16
IAC is no ordinary showroom. In our daily work we rarely meet a broader audience. Instead we house and support artists and researchers who develop, test, and produce innovative projects in the fields of visual art, music, dance and theatre. This year’s Malmö Gallery Weekend is a unique opportunity to experience IAC and some of the many artistic projects developed here.
You are invited to examine the work in progress iteration of the long term project: “On the Subject of Tests: Rehearsing the Examination” by artist and researcher Sasha Bergstrom-Katz in our VR/Sound Lab. In the Black Room, Make Sound residents Jacob Remin and Dennis P Paul will present a new sound installation diving into fields of sensory brain and body hacking.
In the Artist Studio, IASPIS resident Sebastian Moske is showing two video works from his diploma thesis in Fine Arts at HfK Bremen (2020). In addition, we present a series of performances on Friday night in our open Café area with Moa Franzén, Saga Gärde/Amfi, Filip Vest and Axel Berger.
Performance evening: Friday, 24 September, 18-22, IAC Café area
