The Sound Collective We like We and sound artist Jacob Kirkegaard will be developing a multi-channel work, consisting of pre-recorded sound from 12 loudspeakers and live sound by We Like We.
The project is conceived of as an exploration of the interplay between space and sound; sound art and music; electronic and acoustic; and the aesthetic meeting between Jacob Kirkegaard and We Like We.
Percussionist Sara Nigard Rosendal will document and describe the process for her master’s assignment at the Malmö Academy of Music.
Jacob Kirkegaard is an artist and composer who works in carefully selected environments to generate recordings that are used in compositions, or combined with video imagery in visual, spatial installations. In 2016 Jacob Kirkegaard is the sound-artist-in-residency at Oxford University, U.K.
